Our Founder
Hi, I’m Savannah Hodgen, founder and owner of Elite Leash & Co.
I started this business with one simple goal: to create a service I’d want for my own dogs. Not a big app with anonymous walkers. Not someone who cuts corners. I wanted to build something personal. Something that feels like a partnership between me and you, the dog parent.
This began as a small, neighborhood service and quickly grew through word of mouth. Why? Because once clients experience the Elite difference, they don’t go back.

How it Works
The Meet and Greet: What to Expect
At Elite Leash & Co., we believe a warm introduction is one of the most important parts of your dog walking experience. Our initial meet-and-greet is designed to ensure that your dog feels comfortable and that you feel confident in our care. During this visit, we’ll take the time to get acquainted with your dog’s personality, habits, and any special needs.
We’ll cover essential details, such as your preferred walking routes, feeding and water routines, and any behavioral cues we should know. This meeting also allows us to establish trust between you and your pup, making the first walk a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We Walk With Safety in Mind
At Elite Leash & Co., the safety of our clients, their pets, and our staff is always our top priority. While we understand that every dog is unique, we currently do not work with breeds that are often associated with increased liability. This includes, but is not limited to, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chows, Akitas, and Wolf Hybrids. This policy is in place to protect all pets and people in our care.
This policy is not a reflection on any specific dog or breed; we know that many of these dogs can be wonderful companions. However, in order to prioritize the safety and comfort of our staff and all pets in our care, we must make these decisions with caution. We appreciate your understanding.
